Q: What is inlcuded with my registration?
A: Registration fee includes game jersey, practice jersey (U8 and up only), game shorts, and game socks. It also covers a buy out for volunteering. Our coaches are not paid, and the concession must be maned during our game days. In order to prevent concessions from being unmanned we have included a $10.00 buy out. This is a mandatory fee each registrant must pay. However, you can get that money back by supporting the concession stand with 2 hours of volunteer time.
Q: What is not included with my registration fee.
A: The player is responsible for shin guards, cleats, and an appropriate sized soccer ball.
Q: How do I know which Age Division my child should sign up for.
A: The registration software is inteligent enough to direct you to the correct age group. However, for your information the chart below will also help you in understanding how the age divisions are formed. Keep in mind we only support U5, U6, U8, U10, and U12 If you are between those age divisions you will play up to the next available age group.
Age Group Chart
The Florida Youth Soccer Associations (FYSA) has implemented a change in the age group boundaries, moving away from the school year age groups to a birth year age groups. Click on the picture below to expand the matrix and determine what age group is appropriate for your player. The U5 is missing from the official FYSA chart used below. Players born in 2013 or younger will be playing in the U5 age group.
My son should be U7. Instead, registration is only allowing him to play as U8. Why?
Rec Soccer’s age brackets are U5, U6, U8, U10, and U12. Since you cannot “play down,” the registration system will force the player to play up instead.
What are the prices for the 2016 Fall Rec Season?
