Question: Do I have to attend ALL tryout sessions? It is highly recommended but not required. The coaches may have to watch the player more than one 1.5-hour session in order to make a decision, especially in those age groups with high demand.
Next Season Changes
In accordance to US Youth Soccer policies, WCSC will start the conversion from the usual Florida school year age groups to the Calendar Year age groups used in most of the states in the US. According to US Youth Soccer, “with these initiatives, we’re more likely to have players better prepared down the road … With small-sided standards, what we’re trying to do is to help players develop by putting them in an environment where they are constantly involved in the play, and our changes in birth-year registration will make age groups easier to understand while aligning our calendar with the international calendar.”
The age groups for next season are the following. As usual, players will be allowed to “play up” based on DOC approval:

Financial Assistance
Wesley Chapel Soccer Club is committed to providing youth soccer activities to every eligible player who wishes to participate. A portion of the registration funds is earmarked to the “Put a Player on the Pitch Program,” allowing our club to provide a limited amount of financial award to children whose families are unable to pay the full cost of registration and/or club fees. As a non-profit organization, WCSC is required by IRS rules to qualify financial award based on fairly applied guidelines. The club grants financial award on the basis of financial need (NOT player ability) and requires information to determine the need for financial assistance. Click here for more detail.
